Walter T. Tsukamoto

Major Walter T. Tsukamoto, Judge Advocate General and
Legal Assistance Officer of the MIS School

He was an attorney in Sacramento, California and began at the Military Intelligence Service Language School  (MISLS) in March 1943.  He acted as an attorney for MISLS students and personnel who granted him power of attorney.

The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, 20 July 1942, takes pride in presenting the Legion of Merit (Posthumously) to Colonel (Judge Advocate General's Corps) Walter T. Tsukamoto, United States Army, for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States from December 1957 to January 1961.
